About this site
Sawang lies along the coast of Siquijor Island in the Visayas region of the Philippines, an area known for its fringing reefs and small coastal barangays facing the Bohol Sea. The site sits over a reef bottom reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported frogfish, ghost pipefish, lionfish, nudibranchs, and sea turtles here, making it a spot worth a slow, macro-focused look as well as a scan for the occasional turtle passing over the reef.
