About this site
Snapper Drop is a wall dive off Hanover parish, on Jamaica's western tip where the coastline transitions from the north to the south side of the island near Lucea. It reaches a maximum depth of around 36.6 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported barracuda and wrasse along the wall. Sites along this stretch of coast are typically reached by boat from small operators based in the local coastal towns.
