Scott's Head Drop Off sits at the southern tip of Dominica, where the village of Scott's Head marks the point at which the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. The site is part of the Soufriere Scotts Head Marine Reserve, a protected area built around the collapsed rim of an old volcanic crater. The terrain here drops from shallow water into a steep wall, a feature common to this stretch of Dominica's leeward coast.
