About this site
Secret Garden lies along the north coast of East Timor, near Dili, on the stretch of shoreline facing the Wetar Strait, in an area coordinates place close to Maluku waters at the edge of the Banda Sea. Dive sites here are typically reached by short boat rides or shore entries from the capital. The site sits over a reef bottom reaching a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported a wide range of life on this reef, including dugong, frogfish, hairy frogfish, ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp, mandarinfish, mimic octopus, napoleon wrasse, sweetlips, and various nudibranchs.
