About this site
Secret Reef lies off Koh Kham (Khlum Island) in Trat province, along the Gulf of Thailand coast near the Cambodian border in Thailand's eastern region. This part of the Trat archipelago is typically reached by boat from Trat town or nearby coastal piers, with dive operators running trips out to the smaller islands scattered across this stretch of the gulf. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 12 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers have reported barracuda, batfish, fusiliers, garden eels, octopus, pufferfish, sea turtles, stingrays, stonefish, and trevally around the reef.
