About this site
Semaya sits off the coast of Nusa Penida, the island southeast of Bali across the Badung Strait, in the same current-swept waters that run through Crystal Bay, Manta Point, and the Toyapakeh area. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated a beginner dive. As elsewhere around Penida, conditions are shaped by the strait channelling cool water between Bali and the island, though the dive itself is considered accessible.
