Setangi Rock lies off the northwest coast of Lombok, in the Lombok Strait between Bali and Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara. This stretch of coastline sits within an area known for strong currents funneling through the strait, with small fishing villages along the shore serving as access points for boats heading out to sites in the area. It is rated an intermediate dive, and divers here have reported barracuda and batfish around the rock, with occasional whale shark sightings as well.
