About this site
Seven Mile Reef lies off South Africa's east coast in the Indian Ocean, near Nomvunya. This submerged reef system stretches for miles, offering diverse marine life and dramatic drop-offs. Expect strong currents that bring pelagics like sharks and rays. The reef's pinnacles and swim-throughs host colorful corals, moray eels, and schools of tropical fish. Visibility varies but can exceed 20 meters on good days. Suitable for experienced divers due to currents and depth.
