About this site
Shaab Ali is a reef formation in the Gulf of Suez off the Sinai coast of Egypt, within the broader stretch of water associated with Tur Sina governorate, in the general vicinity of the Ras Mohammed and Strait of Gubal area where reef systems break the surface between the mainland and the offshore shipping lanes. The site is reached by boat from ports along the Sinai coastline and includes wreck features alongside the reef. It reaches a maximum depth of around 33 metres and is rated an advanced dive.
