About this site
Shaab Nakari is a reef site off Egypt's Red Sea coast, near Marsa Alam. It reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres over a reef bottom and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Divers here have reported surge and waves at times, so conditions can pick up on the reef. Sightings logged at the site include barracuda, fusiliers, lionfish, scorpionfish, and trevally, along with occasional dolphins and even whale sharks passing through.
