About this site
Shab Nugar is a reef site in the Red Sea Governorate of Egypt, off the Egyptian coast north of Hurghada, typically reached by day boat or liveaboard out of the nearby harbours. The reef tops out at a maximum depth of around 14 metres, making it a shallow dive well suited to relaxed exploration. Divers have also reported fusiliers moving over the reef here.
