About this site
Shallow Wrecks lies off St. Croix, the easternmost of the U.S. Virgin Islands, in the northeastern Caribbean Sea, reached from one of the boat launch points along the island's coast. The site sits over a reef structure where divers have reported bicolor damselfish alongside a mix of hard corals, including boulder star, greater star, lobed star, massive starlet, lettuce, and mustard hill coral. These reports give a picture of a coral-built site rather than a wreck-only dive, with the corals forming much of the bottom structure that fish life moves through.
