Hirizo Beach lies near Nakagi in Minamiizu, on the southern tip of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture, an area known for clear coastal water where the Kuroshio Current passes close to shore. Access is typically by small boat from the nearby cove since the site is cut off from road access by cliffs. It is considered a beginner-friendly dive.
