About this site
Sithonia is the middle of the three peninsulas that make up the Halkidiki region in northern Greece, reaching south into the Aegean Sea. Diving at this site is rated technical, with a maximum depth of around 40.2 metres. The peninsula's coastline is generally rocky, cut with small coves and inlets typical of the Halkidiki shoreline, and its depth here places it beyond the range of recreational diving.
