About this site
Coron, on Busuanga Island in northern Palawan, is known for a cluster of Japanese wrecks sunk during a 1944 American air raid, and the Skeleton Wreck lies among the bay's shallow reef and wreck areas near town. The site is confirmed as a wreck bottom, its remains broken down enough over the decades that the hull's skeletal framework is what gives the site its name.
