About this site
Kapas Island sits off the coast of Terengganu in Malaysia, a short boat ride from the mainland town of Marang. Southern Tip refers to the southern point of the island, where the coastline meets open water on the South China Sea side. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 21.3 metres and is rated a beginner dive, with visibility generally described as great. Divers have reported fusilier, pipefish, wrasse, and even whale sharks passing through the area.
