Southwest Reef sits off the southwest coast of New Providence in the Bahamas, in the waters of the Great Bahama Bank. It is a reef site typically reached by boat from nearby New Providence operators. Divers here have reported a mix of reef fish including Atlantic blue tang, Atlantic sergeant major, four-eyed butterflyfish, longspine squirrelfish, princess and stoplight parrotfish, queen angelfish, and yellowtail snapper, along with Caribbean reef sharks passing through.
