About this site
This artificial reef off Florida's coast is a sunken barge resting at 60 feet, now teeming with marine life. Schools of snapper and grouper hover around the structure, while moray eels peek from crevices. The wreck's flat deck and open holds make for easy exploration, with occasional sightings of passing rays. Visibility often exceeds 50 feet in these Gulf waters, with mild currents ideal for novice divers. The surrounding sandy bottom attracts flounder and occasional small sharks.
