About this site
Sri Nokhota is a wall site off Tenggol Island, Terengganu, on Malaysia's east coast, reached by boat from the mainland town of Kuala Dungun. The island sits within a marine protected area known for its granite outcrops and reef sites, generally accessible during the diving season between March and October. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive, though divers have reported occasionally unpredictable currents and possible surges, so depth and surge conditions can vary. Batfish, manta rays, nudibranchs, and parrotfish have all been reported along the wall.
