About this site
Stanley is actually a town on the southern coast of Hong Kong Island, on the opposite side of the harbor from Lamma Island, known for its market and waterfront rather than as a dive site. The coordinates given fall near Lamma Island, which sits south of Hong Kong Island in the South China Sea and is reached by ferry from Central or Aberdeen. Diving in this part of Hong Kong waters tends to happen around the smaller rocky outcrops and bays fringing these islands.
