Stingray Reef sits near Huvahandhoo in Ari Atoll, one of the larger atolls on the western side of the Maldives archipelago. Sites in this part of Ari Atoll are typically reached by dhoni from nearby resorts and guesthouses, with reef structures dropping off into the surrounding channel waters.
