Sweet Lips Table

Sweet Lips Table is one of the named dive sites at Sipadan, the island off the east coast of Sabah in Malaysian Borneo known for its steep drop-offs into the Celebes Sea. The site takes its name from the sweetlips that gather over a coral formation there. Sipadan's sites generally start on a shallow reef top before falling away into a wall, and diving here is managed through a permit system that limits the number of divers allowed on the island each day. Divers have also reported a range of nudibranchs on the reef here, including Anna's Chromodoris, Batangas Halgerda, Blue Dragon, Coi's Goniobranchus, Dusky Nembrotha, Geometric Goniobranchus, and Willan's Chromodoris, along with common lionfish and green sea turtles.
