Tubbataha Reef sits in the Sulu Sea, part of a marine park in the province of Palawan reached mainly by liveaboard from Puerto Princesa during the diving season from roughly March to June. The reef system consists of two main atolls with a mix of wall and reef sites known for strong currents and open ocean exposure.
