About this site
Talisay is a wall dive site on Cabilao Island, a small island off the coast of Bohol in the Visayas region of the Philippines, sitting within the Cebu Strait and reached by boat from the island's resorts. The wall here drops to a maximum depth of around 60 metres, visibility is generally good, and it is rated a beginner dive. Frogfish and nudibranchs are a regular find along the wall, and divers have also reported barracuda, clownfish, hairy frogfish, lionfish, mackerel, mimic octopus, humphead wrasse, parrotfish, pipefish, rhinopias, scorpionfish, sea turtles, and seahorses. The site's mix of macro subjects alongside larger reef fish makes it a popular stop among Cabilao's fringing reefs.
