About this site
Taurito is a small bay on the southwestern coast of Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands, between Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogán. The coastline here is volcanic, with rocky points and small coves typical of this part of the island, and dive operators based in the nearby resort towns run trips out along this stretch of shore. The dive site itself sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 5 metres, making it a beginner-friendly spot. Divers have reported sea turtles in the area.
