Tenki Reef

Tenki Reef lies off Krk Island near Vrbnik, on the Primorje-Gorski Kotar coast in the northern Adriatic Sea. Vrbnik sits on a cliff-top on the island's eastern side, and dive sites in this stretch of water are typically reached by short boat trips from the town's small harbor. The reef bottom here reaches a maximum depth of about 18.3 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported a varied mix of life on the reef, including clownfish, golden anemone, leopard sea slugs, leopard-spotted and red-mouthed gobies, Mediterranean rainbow wrasse, lionfish, scorpionfish, yellow gorgonian, and even a whale sighting in the area, though these observations are less firmly established than the site's depth and reef structure.
