Tearaght Island is the westernmost of the Blasket Islands, off the tip of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry on Ireland's Atlantic coast. Its steep, rocky profile and lighthouse mark the extreme edge of the Irish mainland's offshore islands, with the surrounding waters exposed to open Atlantic swell.
