About this site
Terumbu Tiga, also known as Three Rocks, sits off Perhentian Besar in the Perhentian Islands, part of Terengganu state on Malaysia's northeast coast. The site takes its name from a cluster of rock formations breaking the surface, typical of the granite outcrops scattered around these islands in the South China Sea. The dive follows a rocky bottom down to around 25 metres, and barracuda are a regular sighting here. Divers have also reported batfish, leopard sharks and pipefish around the rocks.
