About this site
This dive site off Grande Comore features dramatic volcanic rock formations and steep drop-offs teeming with marine life. Expect strong currents that attract large schools of pelagics, including tuna, barracuda, and occasional reef sharks. The vibrant coral gardens host colorful reef fish, while deeper sections reveal impressive gorgonian fans. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters, making it ideal for drift diving. The site's volcanic origin creates unique topography with caves and overhangs to explore. Water temperatures stay warm year-round, typical of the Indian Ocean.
