The Narrows lies along the Donegal coast in the province of Ulster, in the northwest of Ireland, in a stretch of channels and inlets typical of the region's rugged Atlantic-facing shore, usually accessed from small local harbours and slipways. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 24 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have also reported strong current running through the channel here.
