About this site
The Penguin wreck lies off Pange Island in the Zanzibar Channel, on Tanzania's west coast not far from Stone Town, an area reached by short boat trips from the main island and known for sandbanks and patch reefs. The wreck sits at a maximum depth of 42 metres and is rated a technical dive. Divers have reported barracuda, batfish, grouper, and trevally around the site.
