About this site
The Rock lies off the coast of the Dominican Republic, near Puerto Plata on the island's north shore. It is a beginner dive with a maximum depth of around 14 metres, making it suitable for less experienced divers. The site includes narrow passages and a swim through, so divers should keep buoyancy in check when moving through the tighter sections. Nurse sharks have also been spotted resting around the site.
