Thefaridhoo lies within Haa Dhaalu Atoll in the far north of the Maldives, an area reached far less frequently than the central atolls popular with liveaboards. Hunadu and the surrounding reefs sit within this remote northern atoll system, accessed mainly by boats operating locally rather than the standard southern routes.
