Thin Gaa Thila is a submerged reef pinnacle rising from the atoll floor within Baa Atoll, Maldives, an atoll recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve and known for the manta aggregations at nearby Hanifaru Bay. Baa Atoll sits in the central-western part of the Maldivian archipelago in the Indian Ocean, and this thila is reached by boat from resorts and liveaboards operating in the area. The site has a maximum depth of around 12 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it accessible for divers still building experience.
