About this site
Toho 2 sits off the coast of New Caledonia, an archipelago in Melanesia in the southwest Pacific, within the lagoon waters bordered by one of the world's largest barrier reef systems. Dive sites in this area are typically reached by boat from nearby coastal towns on the main island, Grande Terre. Divers here have reported blackback anemonefish, Indo-Pacific yellowtail damsel, lemon damsel, Luzon sea stars, Pacific sailfin tang, scissortail sergeants, white-spotted puffers, whitespotted blennies, and Whitley's sergeants among the reef residents.
