Tortuga Island lies off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in the Gulf of Nicoya near Curu and Paquera on the Nicoya Peninsula. Diving here is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of about 7.6 metres, making it a beginner-friendly site. Divers have reported angelfish, parrotfish, and scorpionfish around the reef.
