Trampa Tortuga lies off San Andrés, the main island of Colombia's San Andrés and Providencia archipelago in the western Caribbean, well off the coast of Nicaragua. The island's coral barrier reef and shelf feed numerous dive sites reached by boat from the town of San Andrés, and this one drops to a maximum depth of 42.7 metres, rated as a technical dive.
