About this site
Travna is a wall dive on Hvar Island, part of the Split-Dalmatia region along Croatia's eastern Adriatic coast. Hvar's shoreline here is characterized by rocky coves and limestone cliffs dropping into the sea, typical of this stretch of Dalmatian coastline, and the wall at Travna follows that same limestone drop to a maximum depth of around 20 metres. Divers exploring it have reported octopus tucked into the rock crevices and scorpionfish resting on the ledges along the way down.
