About this site
Três Ilhas (Ilha Guararema) is a small archipelago inside the Setiba environmental protection area, 5 nautical miles from Guarapari. Dives run from 3 to 12 m over boulder slopes, a shallow nursery cove of 2–4 m, a funnel-shaped passage between Guararema and Ilha Leste-Oeste with a sand bottom at 10 m, and a 10 m rock wall (Guachumbas) on the south side. Suitable for entry-level divers; current is weak on the sheltered side and a north-to-south drift along the landward face is possible.
