About this site
Trou Aux Biches sits on the northwest coast of Mauritius, near Grand Baie and Pointe aux Canonniers, along a stretch known for its shallow lagoon and fringing reef. Dive and snorkel sites here are typically reached by short boat trips from the village itself. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres, keeping it within the lagoon and reef shallows. Divers have reported barracuda, surgeonfish, and trevally passing through the area.
