About this site
Tsumari (ツマリ) is a shore-entry site on Kozushima in the Izu Islands, Tokyo, mainly sand, with no large fish but many tropical drifters from summer into autumn. Juvenile round herring and takabe are numerous and can draw big schools of amberjack and rainbow runners, making it an under-the-radar spot for pelagics; suitable from beginner level, with no current. Night dives are possible, with bobtail squid, stingrays and spiny lobster as regulars.
