About this site
The Tug Boats site lies off Marsaskala on Malta's southeastern coast, where two tugs were scuttled to create an artificial reef dive. The wreckage sits on a sandy bottom to a maximum depth of around 21 metres, making it a beginner dive well suited to the sheltered waters of this stretch of coast. Nudibranchs are commonly found on the structure, and divers have also reported flying gurnard and triggerfish around the site.
