About this site
Tugu is a dive site off Nusa Penida, the island southeast of Bali across the Badung Strait, typically reached by boat from Sanur or from harbors on Nusa Penida itself. The site is rated advanced, with steep slopes and strong currents among the hazards divers have noted along this stretch of coast. Divers have also reported sightings of Mola mola, the ocean sunfish, here. The area's exposure to open water channels and current is consistent with conditions found across much of Nusa Penida's dive sites.
