About this site
Undine Reef sits on the outer Great Barrier Reef off Cairns, in tropical North Queensland waters typically reached by day boat from Cairns or Port Douglas. It is a beginner site over a reef bottom, and eagle rays are a regular sighting here. Divers have also flagged stingers as a hazard in the water between late October and May, so it is worth checking conditions if diving during that window.
