About this site
Wadi Gimal North lies off Wadi Jimal Island along the Marsa Alam coast of Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, within the protected waters of Wadi El Gemal National Park. This stretch of coastline is known for its fringing reefs and seagrass beds south of Marsa Alam town, generally accessed by boat from the mainland. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an intermediate dive.
