About this site
Waecicu and Sture sit along the coast near Labuan Bajo in West Manggarai, on Flores in Nusa Tenggara Timur, in the waters bordering Komodo National Park. This stretch of coastline faces the channels and islands separating the Flores Sea from the Sape Strait, an area dived mainly out of Labuan Bajo by boat. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it a common choice for easier days out from Labuan Bajo between trips to the more current-swept sites further into Komodo.
