About this site

Wahoo Rock lies off Isla Canal de Afuera, one of the outer islands within Coiba National Park in Panama's Gulf of Chiriqui, an area protected for its remote Pacific marine habitat. The park's islands sit well offshore, reached by boat from Coiba itself or from the mainland towns of Santa Catalina or Puerto Mutis. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres, and divers have reported moray eels, sea turtles, and scissortail chromis around the rock.
