Wall 1 lies off Puerto Plata on the Dominican Republic's north coast, in the Caribbean Sea along a stretch of Hispaniola known for reef and drop-off formations. The site tops out at a maximum depth of around 12 metres, making it a shallow wall dive by local standards, with the drop-off itself giving the area its characteristic mix of reef structure and vertical relief.
