About this site
Whalebone lies off the Western Australian coast near Exmouth, at coordinates placing it in the waters around Ningaloo Reef. Divers here have reported a mix of reef fish including doubleline and neon fusiliers, yellowtail fusiliers and demoiselles, yellowstripe scad, Weber's pullers, sunset wrasse and yellowtail emperor, along with green sea turtles moving through the site. The reef life reported points to a typical Ningaloo-style aggregation of schooling fusiliers and scad over reef structure.
