White Island Reef

White Island is a small uninhabited sandbar off the coast of Camiguin Island in the Mindanao region of the Philippines, surrounded by shallow reef flats. Boats to the sandbar typically depart from the Camiguin shoreline near the towns of Mambajao and Agoho. The surrounding reef is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 22 metres. Divers have also reported hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, and thresher sharks in the area, though these are less predictable sightings than the reef itself.
